Estimark is a tool you install on your own phone, tablet, or computer to build job quotes, estimates, and invoices. Your customer information and quote data live on your own device — not on our servers. We don't have accounts, we don't collect your data, and we can't see your quotes or your clients' information.
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Estimark, in plain language.

Estimark ("Estimark," "we," "us," or "our") is a Progressive Web App for independent tradespeople — handymen, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, painters, and similar. Estimark is operated by a sole proprietor based in Massachusetts, USA.

Here's what that means for you:
Because your data lives on your device, keeping it safe and backed up is up to you. If you clear your browser data, lose your device, or uninstall the app, your quotes and customer information may be permanently lost. We cannot recover it for you.
Estimark includes optional AI-powered features that you can choose to turn on. These currently include:

(A "Pro" subscription tier is planned for the future, which may handle AI features differently — for example, without you supplying your own keys. If and when that launches, we will update this policy to explain how it works.)
Some Estimark features let you upload photos — including photos of your clients' homes, rooms, yards, or property.
It is your responsibility to make sure you have permission to use those photos. Before you upload or send a photo of a client's property to an AI feature, you should get that client's consent, as appropriate. You know your clients and your local rules; we can't do this for you. By using these features, you confirm you have the right to upload and process the photos you provide.
Estimark's "Basic" tier is a one-time purchase. Payments and license keys are handled by our third-party payment provider, LemonSqueezy, which acts as the merchant of record.
When you buy Estimark, LemonSqueezy collects and processes your payment information (such as your name, email, and billing details) to complete the sale and issue your license key. We do not collect or store your full payment card details ourselves.

We may receive limited order information from LemonSqueezy — such as your email address and license status — so we can deliver your license, provide support, and handle refunds or licensing questions.
We don't use cookies to track you, and we don't run analytics or advertising trackers. Estimark does not follow you around the web or build a profile on you.
Estimark uses your browser's local storage only to make the app work — to save your quotes, settings, and preferences on your device. That's a normal part of how the app functions, not a tracking tool.
Estimark is a business tool for working tradespeople. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. (Since we don't collect user data at all, this simply reinforces that Estimark isn't meant for or aimed at minors.)
Because your quote and customer data is stored only on your device, you control how long it's kept:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features or when the planned "Pro" subscription launches. When we make changes, we'll update the Effective Date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll make a reasonable effort to let users know.
